Dettaglio Violino collage
This series originates from a detail of a work dedicated to the Violin. The detail is shown here alongside and it is constituted by an aggregate of small forms, which may perceptually recall small sound forms: sounds floating in space. The series of Formae fluentes is derived from this idea and for the most part I relied on gesture for its creation: after sketching the outlines of forms with brush and mordant, I colored some of the forms using chalks and /or crayons and even pasting cardboard cutouts colored in acrylic.
